Education and educators have changed my life!  As a young woman, struggling to find my voice, women teachers and professors served as powerful role models who challenged me to fully engage with the world around me.  Men and women educators lifted the mysterious sheets that covered subjects like science, history, sociology and statistics to reveal an exacting toolbox filled with enlightening methods and concepts.  Today, as a teacher, I find nothing more rewarding than to see that light bulb go off in a student's mind.  If my gift can give one OSU student, teacher, department or Dean the ability to more fully enact the mission of our university, then the gift is entirely mine.  I give, because OSU's mission is my mission.  What we do changes lives, one person at a time.  Who could ask for more from their philanthropy?
