I don't have any earth-shaking reason why I give to OSU other than I observed my father, Tom Maloney, do this as long as I can remember.  Most of his focus was on OSU athletics:  football, basketball, wrestling, and baseball.  He had season tickets for all four of these sports way before it was fashionable.  I went to OSU athletic events when I was very young; I remember my dad having 10 football season tickets in Section D in the 60's and 70's back when we weren't very good and not many people went to the games.  Over the years, my brother and I developed a love for OSU athletics which continued when we went to college there and beyond.  I moved out of state after receiving my MBA and remember being upset that I couldn't hear the games or anything!  Once I moved back to Oklahoma I have faithfully attended football and basketball games, baseball and wrestling occasionally.  Our family trips through the years have consisted of away football games in Arizona, Washington, bowl games, basketball Big 8 and Big 12 tournaments, etc.  It's something our family shares together.  My mom passed away last year and my dad is very ill and unable to attend games, but my brother and I still go to the games and share this with each other.

My husband, Peter, went to Notre Dame.  When we started dating, I found out he had OSU season football tickets and that sealed the deal!  An OSU fan that didn't even go there!
