Distinguished professor Jacqueline Fletcher is making OSU the go-to place for tracking the microscopic culprits behind huge public health problems. She directs the one-of-a-kind National Institute for Microbial Forensics & Food and Agriculture Biosecurity (NIMFFAB). "Every crop is valuable—and vulnerable. Protecting plants safeguards Oklahoma’s health and economy," said Dr. Fletcher. The health of the world is at stake as well. "At home and abroad, we can help crops thrive, while protecting consumers from food-borne illness and bioterrorism." Accordingly, NIMFFAB serves not only Oklahoma’s farmers and ranchers, but also the national intelligence community and agrarian nations around the world. That’s just one way we define Branding Success.
