OSU Foundation Hires New Employees, Transfers VPs
Two employees join OSU Foundation; two associate VPs take on new roles

The Oklahoma State University Foundation announced today the addition of Tia Miller and Claudette Pippin to its staff, and the transfer of Richard Ayers and George Wendt to new positions within the organization.

Miller, the new records associate, is responsible for maintaining the foundation’s database. Before joining the foundation, she served as records associate for the OSU Alumni Association for eight years. The Ada, Okla., native earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University in 2002.

Pippin joins the foundation as its new controller. She is responsible for directing numerous accounting functions including supervising staff, managing daily accounting and gift processing, coordinating annual audits, and ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines. The Michigan native previously served as chief financial officer for Family & Children’s Services in Tulsa. Pippin is a member of American Institute of CPAs, Oklahoma Society of CPAs and Institute of Management Accountants.

Ayers joined the foundation in 2008 as associate vice president of development for OSU Academic Affairs and was recently transferred to the College of Human Environmental Sciences. In his new position, Ayers will develop and administer the fundraising program in support of CHES and coordinate those programs with the foundation.

Wendt recently assumed the position of associate vice president of development for the OSU President’s Office after three years in OSU’s College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology. Wendt will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and maintaining ongoing relationships with major gift prospects in coordination with the OSU President’s Office. The Michigan native joined the foundation in 2005.
