OSU’s Achieving Greatness Strategic Plan contains two ranking goals: 1) moving to the top tier of “Best National Universities” in the U.S. News rankings (OSU is currently in tier three) and 2) ranking in the top 75 among public research universities. Working toward these rankings will yield progress on all other goals in the Strategic Plan. Achieving these rankings will add value to an OSU diploma and make the university a stronger asset to the state.
