Synchroneyes software - This software allows an instructor in a computer lab to access any computer from the teacher machine, send a file to any machine, and/or lock student computer keyboards to facilitate classroom management.
Server - The educational technology program needs a personal server for use in all program coursework.
Oklahoma State Student Media Festival - We need support in the form of a graduate assistant, cost of printing and awards, and catered lunch for participants.
Biopac psychophysiological measurement system (including GSR, ERP, and EEG modules) - $7500.

School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership
International Education Outreach - Funds are needed to support varied international outreach efforts including (a) stipends or scholarships to defray the expenses of student teachers who are selected to complete their clinical practice in international settings (e.g., Costa Rica, England), (b) funds to assist faculty travel to international sites to establish collaborative relationships and identify research and teaching opportunities, and (c) funds to develop faculty and student exchange programs with international partners.
Immediate Need - $50,000 annually

International Fair – Annual funding is needed to cover the costs of International Fair experience that is coordinated through OSU COE for all Stillwater 4th grade students. This project is a collaborative effort of Secondary foreign language program, elementary education, social studies program, K-12 art program, and volunteers from all student education organizations.
Immediate Need - $10,000 annually
Goal - $200,000 endowment
Curriculum Studies Project - Curriculum Studies, with its broad-based applicability in all content areas and grade levels, enables theory and practice to come together to address critical issues facing educators today. There are fewer than ten doctoral Curriculum Studies programs at universities in the United States, and the Curriculum Studies Project, by demonstrating support for the program’s work, will draw attention to the program, increasing its visibility and thereby strengthening its reputation for scholarly contributions to the field of education. Funding could help support: 1) student recruitment, 2) faculty scholarship by providing graduate research fellows, 3) an online Journal of Curriculum Issues, and 4) faculty and student engagement in public school collaboration.

Research and Outreach Funds – Funds are needed to support research and outreach efforts engaged in by faculty and graduate students. Monies would be used to fund graduate student fellowships allowing students to commit to full time study and to provide funding to participate in professional conferences; a research/scholars event where OSU graduate students would have the opportunity to engage in scholarly dialogue with faculty; and to establish a Scholar-in Residence program that would support bringing an internationally/nationally known scholar to the campus for an extended visit to work with faculty and students.

*Software: Development software for desktop virtual reality instructional applications. This software creates 3D virtual environments that play on desktop and laptop computers and allow learners to explore these environments interactively. $2,000
Joe Siebers Memorial Scholarship in Occupational Education – This scholarship honors one of our doctoral students who died suddenly. Students have raised $2,000 so far to honor their lost friend.

Reading Research and Professional Development Center – Funds are needed to support ongoing, collaborative research on reading achievement for children. This research will be used to develop and provide targeted professional development for teachers working in Oklahoma schools.

School of Applied Health and Educational Psychology
Mettler Auto Therm 390 Shortwave Diathermy Unit with CartDiathermy - $6,125
Usage: unit used in course to teach and practice the concepts and applications. This technology will be an important component as we establish expanded treatment capacity in our on-campus facility.
Dual Channel T.E.N.S Unit (ideal 10 units).
Wheelchairs and Therapeutic Exercise Equipment - $6,000. This equipment is critical for instruction in our therapeutic recreation programs, and our physical education training programs.

Psychological assessment & intervention materials for School Psychology and Counseling Center Clinics - $5,000
Our School Psychology and Counseling Psychology Clinics use many different and costly assessment devices for training and intervention in our on-campus clinics. These include intellectual and achievement tests, as well as personality and career assessments. We are particularly targeting state of the art assessment tools for alcohol and drug assessment.
Graduate Student Research travel support – 5,000.
SAHEP graduate students in all of our program areas including counseling, health promotion, school psychology, and leisure studies engage in research as they proceed in their careers. This work often includes travel to present their work at National Conferences, with students incurring significant expense. This fund will be used to offset these expenses for our students as they present their work at these conferences.
