CIVE Project Excellence (26-7970)
As with the engineers who have earned the distinction of becoming Professional Engineers, this fund will allow the School to earn the distinction of supporting excellence in all aspects of the School’s educational functions. In the past this fund has supported the purchase of new equipment in the Asphalt, Hydraulics and Soils Laboratories. In the future it will support faculty and students to present the findings of their research work at conferences, upgrade laboratory equipment and be utilized to enhance excellence in the School’s educational environment.

School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Student Professional Development Fund (26-8760)
The CIVE Student Professional Development Fund will facilitate career development, enhance the educational experience and expand the horizons of the CIVE students. One important element of the fund will be to broaden the students’ classroom learning through support of national and international travel and attendance at national student and professional conferences. Other similar educational opportunities include: inviting speakers to campus for classroom lectures and seminars, and purchasing unique equipment and technology for lab or classroom utilization. Academic quality is a hallmark of CIVE at OSU and this fund will serve to ensure academic excellence in our students by providing them with the combination of education and experiences needed to thrive in the global society of the 21st century.
