Honors College
Old Central renovation to house the Honors College Center:
Just as first-class athletic facilities are important to recruiting top athletes and helping them succeed in their athletic endeavors, having a state-of-the-art Honors College Center is important to recruiting and nurturing outstanding undergraduate students in the context of the Academic Instruction strategic theme of the OSU System. The performance of Oklahoma State University scholars over the last decade has made OSU recognized nationally as an institution that produces the very best candidates for national competitions, graduate schools, and employment. A limiting factor at present is space available for offices, seminar rooms, and informal gathering places for students and faculty.Renovation of Old Central to be a well-appointed free-standing Honors College Center to house The Honors College administration and advising office is underway. Naming gift opportunities are available for alumni and donors to name the offices, reception and counseling areas, visiting scholar offices, study lounge, fully-equipped computer laboratory, seminar/conference rooms, and the second floor assembly hall of Old Central. The grand opportunity is available to name The Honors College, similar to the naming of the other college academic units, and allow for identification with OSU top students for generations to come.

Thanks to continuing and growing success, there is a great need for increased support that would generate programming for those wanting to expand their undergraduate experience even more.
